Harby Playing Field

The playing field is a volunteer run facility for our community and visitors to use. It includes a pavilion, recreational field, play area, multi-sports court, and a bowls club.  

Where to find us

Harby Playing Field is off Church Road, Harby, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG23 7ED. It is located opposite All Saints Church.

What facilities are there?

• Brick pavilion including kitchen, showers and toilets
• Bowls club
• Multi-sports play area
• Toddler and junior play park 
• Recreational football pitch and 
• Further grassed recreational space

Events 

• A popular car boot sale is held fortnightly from April-October, see the Car Boot Sales page for full dates.
• A Bonfire and Firework display is held on the 5th November each year.

Hiring the facilities

The grounds and pavilion can be hired out for events. e.g. caravan rallies, car rallies, wedding receptions (including erecting marquees) and cycling events.

The pavilion has a bright function room overlooking the bowls green with a kitchen - including a cooker, kettle, under-counter fridge and a microwave. Other facilities include inside toilets, outside toilets, basic changing rooms and showers. 

Hire rates 

The pavilion is £5 per hour to hire.
To hire the playing field and pavilion for an event is £300 per day.
